The trail is free to use with multiple access points offering parking areas. Bring your own bikes, helmets, and equipment as rentals aren't available on-site, and pack sunscreen and water since shaded sections alternate with sunny stretches.

Fall through spring (October-April) offers the most comfortable weather for trail activities. Summer visits are possible but plan for early morning or evening to avoid midday heat and afternoon thunderstorms. The trail is open year-round and doesn't close for holidays.
