Potter Park Zoo

Admission is budget-friendly at moderate pricing ($$), with free parking available on-site. The zoo has a small cafe for snacks and drinks, but many families pack lunches to enjoy at the picnic areas. Stroller-friendly paved paths make it accessible for families with young children.

The zoo is open year-round, but winter hours may be shortened and some outdoor exhibits close during extreme cold. Summer features extended hours and special events. Holiday lights and themed events occur in December. Spring is ideal for seeing baby animals.
