Munising Falls Visitor Center

Munising Falls offers one of the easiest waterfall hikes in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, perfect for families with young children. Admission and parking are completely free. The paved path is stroller and wheelchair accessible, though the boardwalk near the falls has some stairs. Restrooms are available at the visitor center, but there are no food concessions, so pack snacks.

Open year-round, though the visitor center typically closes in winter (November through April). The falls are accessible via snowshoe or cross-country ski in winter, creating a magical frozen wonderland. Spring offers the most dramatic water flow, while fall brings beautiful foliage.
