Early morning on weekdays offers the best wildlife viewing and peaceful trails, while weekends see more families but create a fun, social atmosphere. Fall is spectacular for foliage, and winter mornings after fresh snowfall make for magical cross-country skiing adventures.

Admission and parking are free. Restrooms and a warming cabin are available near the main trailhead, but there are no food vendors, so pack snacks and water for your adventure.

Summer offers lush green trails and picnicking, fall brings stunning foliage, winter transforms it into a cross-country skiing destination with groomed trails, and spring features wildflowers and active wildlife. Trails remain open year-round during park hours.
