Worlds of Fun delivers thrills for the entire family with over 100 rides, shows, and attractions spread across themed areas. From gentle kiddie rides in Planet Snoopy to heart-pounding roller coasters for teens and adults, this premier Kansas City amusement park offers something for every age, plus bonus summer access to the adjacent Oceans of Fun water park.

Visit on weekdays in May or September for the smallest crowds and comfortable weather. If visiting in summer, arrive right at opening to enjoy popular rides before afternoon heat and peak crowds, or come late afternoon when many families with young children are leaving.

Parking is $25-30 and admission tickets are separate (season passes often pay for themselves in 2-3 visits). The park offers dining plans and meal deals that can save money over individual food purchases. Stroller rentals and lockers are available at the entrance.

The park operates weekends-only in spring and fall (April-May, September-October) with daily operation Memorial Day through mid-August. WinterFest transforms the park into a winter wonderland on select November-December dates. Oceans of Fun water park is only open during summer months (late May-early September).

Chappell's Restaurant & Sports Museum (10 minutes away) offers a kid-friendly menu with fun sports memorabilia décor, or head to Fritz's Railroad Restaurant where a model train delivers your food right to the table,a hit with young train enthusiasts.
