Factory tours are free but donations are appreciated. The on-site shop accepts cash (Kenyan shillings preferred) and sometimes credit cards. There is ample parking on-site, and the facility is mostly accessible though some workshop areas may have uneven surfaces.

Open year-round with consistent hours. December holiday season can be busier with both tourists and local shoppers looking for gifts. Nairobi's dry seasons (January to March and July to October) offer more comfortable weather for exploring.
