The beach is free to access with lifeguards on duty daily during peak season (extended hours in summer). Paid parking is available in nearby lots ($6-8 per hour), or use metered street parking. Multiple cafes and takeaway shops line the beachfront, plus public restrooms and outdoor showers are available.

Best swimming weather is October through April (Australian spring and summer), though the beach is enjoyable year-round. Lifeguards patrol daily in summer (extended hours) and weekends only in winter. December to February brings peak crowds and occasional bluebottle jellyfish, so check warning signs.
