Visit on weekday mornings (especially Tuesday-Thursday) in late spring or early fall for mild weather, fewer crowds, and the most peaceful experience. Summer weekends are busiest but offer the warmest beach conditions.

The park is free to enter with available parking on-site. There are no food vendors or facilities inside, so pack a full picnic, plenty of water, and sunscreen for your visit.

The park is open year-round, but beach activities are most enjoyable May through September. Trails are accessible in all seasons, with fall offering beautiful foliage and winter providing peaceful coastal walks (dress warmly). Park hours are consistent throughout the year (6 AM-9 PM daily).
