Bootleg Canyon is free to access with parking available at multiple trailheads. There are no facilities, water, or food available on-site, so come fully prepared with all supplies. Trails are natural desert terrain, so proper mountain bikes (not road bikes) are essential.

Winter months (November-February) offer the most comfortable temperatures but can occasionally be chilly in early mornings. Spring (March-April) brings wildflower blooms and perfect riding weather. Summer (May-September) is extremely hot and only suitable for very early morning rides. Trails remain open year-round but are best avoided during rare rain events when they become muddy and dangerous.
