Boulder City Historic District offers a delightful step back in time with its nostalgic small-town charm just 30 minutes from Las Vegas. Street parking and public lots are free throughout the district. Most shops are small and require supervision of young children, but owners are generally welcoming to families. Bring cash as some vintage shops are cash-only.

Spring (March-May) and fall (October-November) offer the most pleasant weather for walking. The annual Spring Jamboree and Art in the Park events add extra family activities. Many shops may have reduced hours during summer's extreme heat.
